30-Day Song Challenge 2: Day 28 - A song by a band I've discovered in the past year: Seven Mary Three - Margaret

Today's challenge was probably the easiest of the whole bunch to complete, and my pick shouldn't come as a huge surprise. After all, Seven Mary Three were the undisputed winners of the 'Where have you been all my life!?!' Award for a band I only discovered in 2011.

Why this particular song and not one of their more popular hits like Cumbersome or Water's Edge?

To be honest I'm not entirely sure. All I know is that, the more I listened to 7M3 last year, the more Margaret really stood out to me as my favourite.

It could be that deep, bouncy bassline that sees the song galloping into a scorching trail of guttural guitars and impassioned vocals.

It could be those vocals themselves, the way they tell a story with such conviction, such emotion and yet with such a memorable, infectious melody.

Whatever the reason, it's a beast of a track, so please, enjoy
