30-Day Song Challenge 2: Day 26- A song by an artist I'd like to have dinner with: Ringo Starr - Honey Don't

As part of my mission to listen to, and document my thoughts on, 100 albums, I've been slowly but surely plodding my way through The Beatles' discography.

As an unexpected consequence of this, I've discovered that my favourite Beatles tunes are not their most popular or well known, but are actually those were drummer Ringo Starr steps up to the mic for lead vocal duties.

So you can imagine my delight when, on my last visit to the states, I heard that Ringo would be appearing on one of those late-night chat shows which seem to be in abundance across the pond.

I looked forward to that show all day long, and wasn't disappointed with the resulting interview, in which the Liverpudlian revealed himself to be warm, accessible and incredibly funny.

It's for this reason that I pick Ringo for today's entry, I think any chance to talk to him, be it over dinner, drinks or in any other social situation would be a great laugh full of wonderful stories and that a brilliant time would be had by all.

Plus, it would give me the chance to say 'Hey Ringo, y'know that song you sang, "Honey Don't"? Great work , I love that song. I put it on my blog and asked me readers to please enjoy."

Rock on George, one time for me!
