30-Day Song Challenge 2: Day 20- A song that could have easily been written about my life: Counting Crows - All My Friends

'One way or another, I'm just hoping to put my feet out in the world"

I've gushed about Counting Crows enough over the years that at some point I've probably already mentioned how much Adam Durirtz's lyrics seem to resonate with my own life.

It's hard to fully explain, and I understand that some might find it a little silly, but no matter what 'Crows song I listen to, I get this odd feeling like the band know every little detail about my life and wrote it especially for me.

"Well everyone needs a better day, and I'm trying to find me a better way to get through the things I do and the things I should."

Because of that, I could have picked any Counting Crows song at random, stuck it here for today's entry and still managed to justify why it fits. It's the same with All My Friends, a beautiful little song from the This Desert Life album.

I'll shut up now, because you really need to hear this song.
