During my lengthy hiatus from blogging...and working, and life in general, I spent most of my time searching for certain things, things that would inspire me enough to get my life back in gear and, when I couldn't find those, things that would keep me entertained on good old Youtube.Then, without really intending to, I found both at the same time in the form of a fantastic show by the one and only Demetri Martin.
I've been a big fan of Martin for a while now, mainly because he reminds of the late, great Mitch Hedberg but also because there's something about the way he subconsciouslyy plays guitar whilst telling jokes that really impresses me.

As such, I spent a lot of time listening to his routines until I came across a video of his Edinburgh Festival show, If...
Part comedy, part performance, complete genius, If... is a remarkable show.
I wouldn't go as far as to cry out 'OMG, Demetri Martin saved my life!' or anything, but watching this video certainly made me think 'what on earth am I doing? I need to put on some pants and rejoin society.'
Anyway, here it is. It comes in six parts, but they're all worth watching. Trust me.
